This project addresses the impact of arthritis on daily life, focusing on the sleep challenges faced by those with severe arthritis. To alleviate joint pain during sleep, patients are often advised to sleep on their back or side, but struggle with discomfort from body movement. In response, we designed a modular body pillow that supports a variety of sleeping positions, offering customizable adjustments for the neck, shoulders, and knees—the key joints affected by arthritis. The goal is to provide tailored comfort and stability, improving sleep quality for arthritis sufferers.
